Tonal Range

I am incredibly impressed with Fuji Acros 100 when developed with Diafine. This scene was challenged with a very bright sky in the background and a foreground so dark, I would have never thought it would show up, but here, they don't look that far apart, thanks to Diafine. Mamiya RB67 Pro, 110mm @ F16, red filter, Acros 100 w/ Diafine.

Canal No. 21

There is something spooky about the canals when they are drained for the winter. I am running some comparison tests between digital and film now that I am shooting and developing medium format black and white. This image was digital.

New Orleans Streetcar

As the street car speeds by, the window posts disolve like the frames of a motion picture.

Reflecting on New Orleans

The glowing red windows of the hotel across the street evoked some interesting ideas regarding the hotel's patrons.

One of the things I enjoy most about art is that there really is no right or wrong answer. If it is pleasing and interesting, to your eyes and mind, then it works for you.

Foothills Shadows

This is such a California foothills sort of feeling. You can hear the grass hiss in the summer heat.
