Divine Nexus

Here are a couple of images of a 1996 Taylor 612C guitar. Fine guitars, both acoustic and electric, are a delightful nexus of things that I adore - unbelievable craftsmanship, exquisite materials, culminating in a musical instrument. This is a small bodied fingerstyle guitar made in solid quilted maple (back and sides) and Sitka spruce (top) with an abalone soundhole rosette and mother of pearl inlays in the ebony fingerboard. It is so beautiful to see in person and to hold, that it gives me chills, and it is even more beautiful to play. Aren't we lucky, as human beings, to have such sensibilities to be titillated?
