We get some pretty dense fog in the Central California Valley. The early morning fog shown here was pretty unusual because it was just beginning to burn off, and the blue sky seemed to bleed through and saturate the fog in such a way that the fog seemed blue as well.

The fall brings some new and different produce to the Farmer's Market such as this colorful Kale. Nature is built upon fractals which is rarely more clearly evident than in this amazing array of leaf shapes and configurations.
The morning light beams through the orchard foliage and lights up the mist hovering between the trees as the air just begins to warm.
