Valley Skies

We get some lovely skies right after the rains here in the Central California Valley. There is just such an unusual contrast in the clouds.

Fog

These utlitiy poles take on a lost and lonely, almost vulnerable, air in the context of the emptiness rendered by the dense fog.

Dawn

The hotel room curtains gently filtered the morning light from brilliant first light down to the darkness in the corner where no light extended

Gap

The gap between a massive column and the wall of a building offered and wonderful shadow and the closeup abstraction lends the opportunity for interesting (if not sexy) first impressions.
